Join us for a rejuvenating day devoted to your breath. Mindful and conscious breathing is associated with better sleep and mood, improved athletic performance, reduction of pain and stress and increased brain/cognitive function. Unfortunately, most of us breathe poorly or not as efficiently as we could.
In this day-long retreat, you’ll use techniques from Jill Miller (the author of Body by Breath) and Roll Model® Method balls to open and create space for a better breathing experience. Class will incorporate self-massage as well as movement techniques you can take with you everywhere you go. Think of this afternoon retreat as a gift to your overall well-being!
We are breaking the afternoon into two sessions, with the first session focusing on opening and releasing your deep core muscles and diaphragm. After the first session, you’ll get to indulge in a soothing and warm lunch with the community. Afterward, you’ll finish the retreat with a focus on self-massage techniques.
