Practicing prenatal yoga regularly can help you prepare for the birth of your baby. This prenatal workshop is designed to guide and support expecting mothers and their partners/coaches through the birth process. We will explore breathing techniques, poses, as well as other "tools" that aid, support and bring comfort to laboring mothers creating a "toolbox" to take with you into your journey of the birth of your baby.
We will also complete the workshop with a short yoga practice and brief savasana to encourage relaxation. This will be followed by an opportunity to ask questions.
You will need the following to assist you during this workshop and with your labor and delivery:
Yoga mat(s)
Blankets
Bolster or several large pillows
Blocks or Books
Handout printed and pen
Tennis ball
A Yoga ball (we can improvise if necessary however, this will support
you through labor, and postpartum and onward).
